🎣 Old Bastards’ Fishing Club – DD-214 Veteran Commemorative Medallion

No Orders. Just Bites.

Service remembered. Freedom enjoyed. Fish stories encouraged.

Celebrate veteran pride and a love of life on the water with a double-sided commemorative medallion full of character. Blending bold fishing imagery, patriotic details, and unapologetic humor, this design honors those who have traded duty days for fishing days.

🦴 Front Design — A Veteran with Attitude

A skeleton angler in olive-green military-inspired clothing lounges in a fishing boat, battling a leaping bass. Sunglasses, a cigar, and rugged boots give the scene its easygoing personality, while an American flag, pine forests, and distant mountains complete the lakeside setting.

The boat’s “DD-214” plaque adds a familiar veteran reference, framed by the inscriptions:

“OLD BASTARDS’ FISHING CLUB”
“NO ORDERS. JUST BITES.”
“LIFETIME MEMBER”

🇺🇸 Reverse Design — Hooked on Freedom

Crossed fishing rods frame dog tags marked “DD-214” and “VETERAN” beneath an American flag. A striking bass rises through sculpted-looking waves, with mountains and evergreens bringing the outdoor theme to life.

At the center, the message says it all:

“RETIRED FROM DUTY. HOOKED ON FREEDOM.”

✨ Details That Stand Out

• Two expressive sides combining veteran identity with fishing-club humor.
• Dimensional relief-style artwork with intricate fish scales, rippling water, and detailed fishing gear.
• Gold-tone borders and silver-tone accents contrasted with rich blue and olive-green colors.
• Decorative “Lifetime Member” lettering that captures the camaraderie of a shared passion.

🎁 A Gift with Personality

A thoughtful keepsake for a veteran who loves fishing, a longtime fishing buddy, or a collector drawn to patriotic designs with a sense of humor. A fitting choice for retirement celebrations, birthdays, Father’s Day, or Veterans Day.

🏡 A Story Worth Displaying
